APPLES
Apples are literally overflowing with antioxidants that protect our body from the effects of free radicals, thus extending the life of all cells in the human body. Apples regulate digestion, help us fight infections, have detoxifying and regenerative effects, boost immunity, stimulate mood, and even rejuvenate. One apple a day is said to help maintain health and vitality. Energy-wise, they are not abundant, containing up to 83 percent water and a large number of valuable substances. They should be eaten unpeeled because, as is well known, the peel is the richest source of vitamins in this fruit, containing iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, vitamin C, carotene, unsaturated fatty acids and fibre. The sweet component of the apple is fructose, a simple sugar that breaks down more slowly along with the apple's fibre, keeping blood sugar levels stable. An apple won't make you fat, even though it may taste very sweet. The important pectins also benefit the intestines while quickly sending a satiety signal to the brain. No other fruit contains pectin in such quantities. This soluble fibre prevents the development of harmful micro-organisms, promotes intestinal peristalsis and the elimination of toxins from the body, thus helping to prevent cancer. Vitamins contained in the apple are, among others: provitamin A, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, etc.

Raisin
Raisins have a wide range of actions from constipation, acidosis, anemia, fever to sexual dysfunction. They help lower blood pressure and protect the integrity of heart health, slowing the postprandial insulin response, which means they can help reduce the fluctuations in insulin levels after meals that can be dangerous for diabetic patients - increasing steadiness and stability. Raisins are also known to help with gaining weight in a healthy way, and have a positive effect on eye health, dental health and bone quality.

CARROT
Carrots contain vitamins B, C, D, E and K, lecithin, fibre, easily digestible glucose, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iodine, potassium, phosphorus, iron, copper, manganese and selenium. Lowers cholesterol levels. Carrots are rich in the important antioxidant beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A, which nourishes the retina. It thus contributes to the quality of visual perception on the retina. It also helps with glaucoma and reduces the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration, which sometimes occurs due to ageing of the eye. The trace element selenium is of great importance for human immunity. Carrot juice was once recommended by folk healers to weak, infirm children who often fell ill, to children who were not breastfed and to convalescents. Carrots contain vitamin K1, which is of great importance not only for proper blood clotting, but also for healthy metabolism of bones and blood vessel walls. It promotes bone mineralisation and prevents osteoporosis. Carrots contain the carotenoids alpha and beta carotene as well as lutein. These have a very strong antioxidant effect, that is, they prevent cell damage by free radicals. They protect the body from heart disease and prevent cardiovascular complications. It also contains pectin, which can bind up to eighty percent of heavy metals from the environment. This protects the body from intoxication by certain cancer-causing substances. Helps to speed up metabolism and at the same time gives a feeling of satiety. In addition to the beneficial substances mentioned above, carrots contain protein and fat and about 6 percent carbohydrates. Ninety percent of it is water. It is therefore very low in calories, in 100 grams of carrots you get only 125 kJ. It is said that the caloric value of carrots is negative, because to digest it the body expends more energy than it gets from it. Some diets are therefore based on carrots as the main ingredient. Raw carrots are often used for constipation and cooked carrots for diarrhoea.

APRICOTS
Apricots are not only tasty, but also rich in health benefits. They are a great source of the important vitamin C, which is needed for amino acid metabolism, tissue oxygenation, iron absorption, regeneration, white blood cell formation, development of teeth, bones and cartilage, and help against free radicals. In addition to vitamins C and B, they contain, for example, iron, potassium, silicon, beta-carotene or lycopene. They are also a great source of fibre. It is thanks to fibre that they serve as a gentle 'bowel warmer' and, like figs or plums, help prevent constipation. In addition, they can curb sweet cravings, even though they are relatively low in sugar and calories when fresh. The potassium contained in them is used by the body to regulate blood pressure and ensure optimal functioning of the nervous system. Carotenoids lend apricots their antioxidant properties, but not only that. Beta-carotene is also a precursor of vitamin A, which contributes to the health of our eyes and skin; lycopene protects our heart and contributes to the prevention of cancer. Apricots can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and colon cancer thanks to their natural salicylates. In addition, apricots are a reliable mood enhancer. This is due to their cheerful colour and the action of B vitamins, which facilitate stress relief and contribute to our overall mental health.

SEA-BUCKTHORN
The positive healing effect of sea buckthorn can be used in the treatment of lung, liver, digestive and joint diseases; it also helps with sore throats and oral infections, as it has a strong bactericidal effect. It supports the proper functioning of the immune system - in addition to vitamin C, it also contains vitamin A, organic acids and has biostimulating effects. The use of sea buckthorn is therefore advisable for various viruses, when we need to support our healthy immunity.

RED BEET
This vegetable is highly alkaline and can therefore fight not only viruses and bacteria, but also widespread mycoses. Beetroot is a good source of folic acid, selenium, vitamin C and also potassium, which is very beneficial to the body in its ability to maintain normal blood pressure, regulate heart function and help the nervous system function properly. Beetroot also contains silicon, which gives strength to our bones, blood vessels and skin. The distinctive dye (betacyanin) contained is an important natural antioxidant. Among the many other positive effects of this accessible and relatively inexpensive vegetable are its support for intestinal peristalsis, stomach and gallbladder function, its significant help with allergies, its significant boost to immunity and its support for mental well-being.

ORANGE
Consuming oranges contributes to overall body hydration, which promotes mental and physical health, improves blood circulation, optimizes organ function and maximizes metabolism. They are also an important source of vitamin C. One orange even provides 80% of the ideal daily intake of this vitamin, which significantly supports immune function, prevents inflammation, has anti-aging effects, is essential for DNA repair and serotonin production, and increases the body's ability to use fat as a fuel source, both during exercise and at rest. But oranges are also a source of vitamins A and B and calcium (for bones and teeth), magnesium, (for the heart and muscle function), also rare selenium (for the immune system). But oranges are also rich in other vitamins and minerals. Examples are potassium and folate. Potassium supports heart function, muscle contraction and helps maintain muscle mass in the body. This mineral also acts as a natural diuretic, lowering blood pressure and preventing fluid retention. Folate supports brain and nervous system function, and sufficient amounts can help protect against depression and memory problems. Oranges are also a rich source of flavonoid antioxidants, which are anti-inflammatory and antiviral. They also defend against oxidative stress, which is essentially an imbalance between the production of cell-damaging free radicals and the body's ability to cope with their harmful effects.

BLOSSOM OF THE THISTLE
Milk thistle has anti-diarrhoeal and anti-spasmodic properties. In folk medicine it is used for urinary stones, abdominal pain, gallbladder and kidney colic, colds and bronchial diseases. Externally, poultices of the leaves are applied to non-healing wounds, eczema and psoriasis.

Tea is a beverage that accompanies us in our daily lives and perhaps for many people it seems mundane and ordinary. It is almost unbelievable that it only appeared in Europe a few hundred years ago. Over the centuries, it has gone from being the drink of the richest to a beverage that almost everyone loves. The oldest herbarium that bears records of tea comes from China and dates back 1 500 years. Legends of tea's miraculous powers, however, were told many centuries earlier. In the 6th century, tea became the drink of the aristocracy.
